Poverty affects the lives of many children in the Philippines. It is difficult to imagine being abandoned at an early age and having to fight for survival on the streets - begging, stealing or selling yourself in order to eat. It is equally hard to imagine living and working on a rubbish dump in order to help support your family. Yet this has been everyday reality for many children helped by ASCF.

Whatever a child's story,
ASCF aims to help.
We have been doing so since 1975 through three different, but linked, ways: Residential care, Extended family care and Pre-school education. It is our fundamental belief that every child is entitled to love, support, and an education. We think that every child should have the right to reach their full potential regardless of their background.
